How it started
“Great restaurants deserve technology that truly works for them.”
Reservi started with a frustration I couldn't shake. Time after time, I'd try to book a table at a restaurant I loved, and no one would pick up. Not because they didn't care, but because the team was heads-down doing what they do best: looking after the people already in the room.
The software meant to help them was outdated and created more problems than it solved. For years I watched extraordinary restaurants lose guests they never even knew were calling, simply because they didn't have the resources to answer every time.
It didn't sit right with me. Great restaurants deserve technology that genuinely works for them: that gives them control, automates the busywork, and protects the hospitality that makes them special. So we set out to build the best platform we could, one that truly empowers every restaurant, instead of getting in the way.
We didn't make this up. You told us.
We talked with hundreds of restaurant owners. Again and again, we heard the same things:
"I lose tables every night because we can't get to the phone."
"I can't step away from the host stand without something falling apart."
"My system is so clunky I end up doing everything by hand."
"Guests call after hours and no one answers."
"I have no idea how many bookings I'm actually losing."
"I want to be with my guests, not stuck on the phone."
Every conversation pointed to the same thing: restaurants need their control back. That's exactly what we built.
